Pre-Season off Ice training program

Hello Twin City Families,

We are excited to announce that we will be kicking off the start of the 2019-20 season with a series of off ice training sessions that will be available to any players registered for our U8 Jr Hawks Mites through Bantams Divions. (no additional registration required for off ice)

Coach Todd Wood will be running the off ice sessions, each session will be a mix of conditioning, agility, flexibility, and core strengthening along with some hockey skills. Coach Todd has worked with the staff at USA Hockey to tailor a program that will help prepare our kids for the upcoming hockey season, while having fun outside with their friends and teammates, in a different format than that of the normal practice setting.

All off ice sessions will be held at the Fitchburg Street Hockey Landry Rink (new rink next to basketball court at Coolidge Park) and the schedule will be the follow:

Wednesday’s August 7th, 14th, 21st

  • Mites and Squirts 6 to 6:35PM

  • Peewees and Bantams 6:40-7:15PM

Friday’s August 9th, 16th, 23rd

  • Mites & Squirts 6:15-6:50 PM,

  • Peewees and Bantams 6:55- 7:30PM

**Please be sure that each player wears appropriate cloths to do activates such as run, jump, or stretch, and sneakers are required**

**Also be sure to bring hockey gloves and a stick along with water**
