2021 Zach's Goal Hockey Development Program

The program hs been specifically designed for all players age 12 and under looking to further develop their hockey skills to prepare for possibly playing a full season travel hockey in the future or beginning to learn the skills needed to play the game.

This program is ideal for kids who may have dek/street hockey experience and want to get into ice hockey.

With support from our partners at Zach's Goal, the Hockey Development program will mix the USA Hockey ADM Model to develop player's core hockey skills while allowing them to play cross ice or half ice games during the seasons. The model will focus on getting players as many touches of the puck as possible each ice session while allowing them to have fun and learn the game at the same time!

This program is the next step for graduates of the Learn to Skate program or for those children with some skating experience who want to begin to learn to play hockey. The program focuses on skating (stopping, turning, skating backwards) and hockey (stick handling, passing, shooting) skills, along with team interaction and game play.

This is a 12 week session that will run from January 9th to March 28th
Saturdays at 12:30pm and Sundays at 11:30am
Cost will be $350

All players should come fully dressed in equipment with a basic hockey jersey (please contact TCYHA for more info on equipment needs if you are unsure of the equipment requirements/needs for your child).

**Due to Covid-19 protocols, all players and parents are required to wear a mask at ALL TIMES in the building and on the ice**
