[2020-2021] Middle School League Grade 5-6

The Middle School Hockey program is designed for players who currently play travel hockey and are interested in playing in an supplemental competitive program as a primer for High School level competition. 

Rosters may including players from within and outside of the Twin City Youth Hockey organization.

Teams will play games as part of the Middle School League run at the New England Sports Center in Marlboro. League Highlights:

  • 16 Game Schedule with playoffs
  • Multiple Divisions for proper team parity
  • League Games Start the end of October
  • All Games Played at NESC

The Middle School Hockey program will field two teams;

  • 1st team made up of 5th and 6th grade players
  • 2nd team made up of 7th and 8th grade players.

Teams will be placed in divisions against other teams of similar age/skill but there will be parity games with the ability for a team to be re-assigned to proper level of play based on parity game results.

***Program fee is required to be paid at time of registration, if not paid at that time the player will be waitlisted until payment has been completed and a spot is not gaurenteed on a team***

[2020-2021] U8 Jr Hawks Mites

The U8 Jr Hawks Mite program in the 2020-2021 season is open to players born in 2012 to 2014 birth years.

The season will run from the end of August through the middle/end of March.  

Teams practice primarily at the Wallace Civic Center and will play games in the Valley Hockey League half-ice league. This season U8 Jr Hawks will also receive 1 skills night per month from September through February run by professional hockey skills development staff. 

The Valley League half-ice league offers our teams the ability to play competitive games with a wide variety of teams with paritied division as high as the AAA/elite level to ensure each team has the best opportunity and environment for player development at the U8 age level.

Games will have referees, score keepers, and standings plus end of year playoffs.  

We will hold player evaluations and team selections in mid/to Late August, and games start in mid-September.

Each player will receive a game jersey and game socks as a part of their tuition fee.

Full Tuition and monthly payment details will be provided to all families once all contracts have been completed and voted on by the Twin City Board of Directors.

[2020-2021] Squirts (10U)

The Squirt program in the 2020-2021 season are for all players in born in either the 2010 or 2011 birth years.

Teams practice primarily at the Wallace Civic Center and will play games in the Valley Hockey League. Each team will play approximately 35 regular season travel games, plus playoff games.

This season, all Squirt Teams will also receive 1 skills night per month from September through February run by professional hockey skills development staff. 

Additional tournaments or scrimmage games may be scheduled based upon the coaches decisions, and agreement of the team.

 

Policies & Fees

  • Registration is a non-refundable $75 fee for Player Evaluations plus a $125 deposit towards the 2020-2021 season. The $200 payment is due in order for a player to participate in the team selection ratings.
  •  If a player decides to leave the program, the $125 deposit is refundable at any time before opening day.
  • Full Tuition and monthly payment details will be provided to all families once all contracts have been completed and voted on by the Twin City Board of Directors.
  • Monthly Tuition payments must be up to date in order for any player to take the ice for the start of the 2020-21 season at the End of August.
  • Any prior season balances must be paid in full at registration.
  • Uniforms are not included with paid tuition, but uniforms from prior season may be used as long as they fit your child.
  • There is a $75 discount for those who pay in full at the time of registration that will be credited back.

[2020-2021] Peewees (12U)

The Peewee Program (12U) in the 2020-2021 season are for all players born in either 2008 & 2009 birth years.

Teams practice primarily at the Wallace Civic Center and will play games in the Valley Hockey League. Each team will play approximately 35 regular season travel games, plus playoff games.

This season, all Peewee Teams will also receive 1 skills night per month from September through February run by professional hockey skills development staff. 

Additional tournaments or scrimmage games may be scheduled based upon the coaches decisions, and agreement of the team.

The Bantam Program (14U) in the 2020-2021 season are for all players born in either 2006 or 2007 birth years.

Teams practice primarily at the Wallace Civic Center and will play games in the Valley Hockey League. Each team will play approximately 35 regular season travel games, plus playoff games.

This season, all Bantam Teams will also receive 1 skills night per month from September through February run by professional hockey skills development staff. 

Additional tournaments or scrimmage games may be scheduled based upon the coaches decisions, and agreement of the team.
