Twin City Youth Hockey Association is forming a new House Hockey Development Program, for youth hockey players ages 5 to 12.
The program has been specifically designed to meet the needs of our youth hockey players looking to further develop their hockey skills to prepare for possibly playing full season travel hockey.
In addition this program is ideal for kids who may have dek/street hockey experience, and what to get into ice hockey.
With the support from our partners at Zach's Goal, the House Hockey Development program will mix the USA ADM Model to develop players core hockey skills while allow them to play cross ice an half ice games during the seasons to focus on getting player as many touches of the puck as possible each ice session while allow them to have fun and learn the game at the same time!
It is ideal for graduates of the Learn to Skate/Hockey Development program or for those children with some skating experience who want to begin to learn to play hockey. Children with limited skating experience may still be able to play. Please contact TCYHA for more info. The program focuses on skating (stopping, turning, skating backwards) and hockey (stick handling, passing, shooting) skills, along with team interaction and game play.

Players will be divided into teams and we will do our best to evenly match teams throughout the season as players develop through the program.
